With a doctorate in school psychology and specialized training under national assessment experts, I bring over a decade of experience across private practice and public school districts. Most importantly, I combine deep clinical insight and school-system expertise with the grounded, compassionate perspective of a parent who truly gets it.

Evaluations for School-Age Children & Adolescents
Uncover why your child is struggling in school with comprehensive, strength-based testing for conditions such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, executive functioning, depression, and anxiety. We provide a clear, practical roadmap that helps your child build on their natural strengths, overcome learning challenges, and thrive both academically and emotionally.
Developmental Evaluations for Preschool-Age Children (Ages 2-5)
Catch developmental needs early to set your child up for lifelong success. While formal testing is attempted, if appropriate, informal data is often obtained through an in depth parent interview, rating scales, play-based testing, and classroom observations. We assess your child's daily functioning to assist with educational programming and provide actionable treatment recommendations.
Evaluations for Adults
Move beyond years of unanswered questions about focus, organization, or social connection. Our collaborative adult evaluations, looking at conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the overlap with anxiety and/or depression, help you better understand yourself and access the supports, accommodations, or treatments that may improve your daily functioning and quality of life.

We begin with a virtual intake session where Dr. Westreich gathers developmental history and background details to tailor the exact testing plan to your needs. Rating scales are sent for completion and relevant previous testing/academic records are reviewed.Testing takes place over 1–2 sessions and is conducted by Dr. Westreich and/or a master’s-level examiner trained in specialized administration. For children, we strongly recommend involving teachers and school staff to gather key insights across settings. For adult assessment, it is helpful to involve a family member who knows you well and can speak to developmental history and/or executive functioning skills.

Within 2 to 3 weeks of completing testing, all data is scored and compiled into a comprehensive report. Dr. Westreich then meets with you for a 45-60 minute dedicated feedback session to review the findings and propose next steps. The report is generally shared via email a few days after the feedback session.

Evaluations take place in our Houston office, or when appropriate, directly within select school settings.

We are a private-pay practice and do not contract directly with insurance companies. However, we are happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt with standard diagnostic and procedural codes) following your feedback session for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
